You Play “Amazing Grace” With All Your Heart
It’s angelic. It’s like music from the heavens. Your performance is stunning.
The Gatekeeper wilts before you.
Thorpe, despite his bleeding hand, rises.
“What about the rest of the song?” you cry, frustrated.
“This place isn’t called the Acoustic Asylum for no reason,” Thorpe replies.
“We must keep going to find the rest of the song.”
The Gatekeeper, lying in misery, whimpers:
“You can find the rest of this song in the ‘No Chord Fingerstyle’ Mini Masterclass.
If you don’t know already, it’s a bonus course for those who join the Dan Thorpe Acoustic Academy … but there’s no internet inside this building, hahahaha,” he taunts you, slowly getting to his feet.
You realise if you don’t finish playing the song…
You can NEVER beat the Gatekeeper
“Quick, let’s keep moving,”
…Thorpe urges as the Gatekeeper starts to sneak up behind you…
You and Thorpe hastily leave the room, running through the dimly lit corridors.
You stop to realise you’re both lost in the disorienting maze. Amidst the echoes of your feet on the never-ending corridors…
You spot something.
“What’s that?” you cry.
You both screech to a halt in front of a statue of Carlos Santana.
Thorpe extracts a scroll from the statue’s mouth and murmurs:
“It’s not the rest of the song…” Thorpe declares. “It’s a riddle.”
