The middle, ring, and pinkie are the only fingers being used.

Doing this exercise will improve your dexterity, fluidity, chord changes, and it can even help with your barre chords too.

NOTE - Why do I call it the Bindex exercise? Well, I’m English and we call a "trash can" a bin. The idea behind it is that you are essentially putting your index finger in the bin for this exercise. Bin + index = “Bindex”. Silly name, but a powerful exercise.

Power Tip: Try using a capo on Fret 5 to practise this exercise. The frets are closer together, so you will not need to stretch as much here.
